Reprieve from the Snow
I wanted to capture the coziness of cafes during the cold season! Everyone is coming in to rest from the cold for a while.
I've included the original sketch and its revision plus two other unused sketches.

NYT - Sneaky Haircuts
An illustration for a New York Times article describing the hardships of getting a haircut during the pandemic in 2020. I decided to go with someone getting a haircut sneakily. The barber and customer are both covering their faces and are very suspicious.
I've included the original sketch and some unused sketches below.

Catch a Ride
An MTA train card based on the saying "catch a ride" which made me think of bug catching! Included in the image are animals and plants local to NYC.

Art On Link
A piece for ArtOnLink. The train is one of the most prominent things about the city, so I decided to create a piece based around riding the subway.

Iron Lung
A poster for the movie Iron Lung by Mark "Markiplier" Fischbach. I wanted to give him the sense of uneasiness of being watched but not knowing what exactly is watching you.

Album Cover - Spirit Phone
An album cover for "Spirit Phone" by Lemon Demon. I wanted to experiment and try something different especially for the back cover. I used acetate and painted on bones and organs as if you could see through the body from the back.

Butterfly Diorama
A diorama built based on an article on monarch butterflies and the milkweed that they drink nectar from. I wanted to create a 3D piece that looked like the character was reaching high into the sky for the butterflies.

Two's a Couple
The comic I created as my final project!
The premise is that our main character has accidentally RSVP'd to her brother's wedding with a plus one... who she doesn't have. Now she needs to find someone to fill that role, which thankfully her friend fills! But how does this affect their relationship with each other?Scroll down to read through the whole story!
